Tag Center on Android Market

Hope you all had an awesome Christmas!

Before Christmas, Tag Center was launched for Android devices on the Android market place.

We have seen success with the version for the Nokia N9 campaign in Dubai, so are eagely waiting to see how Android users will find the app.

What will 2012 bring?

We can expect to see more offers available in 2012 that will allow Tag Center users to interact with marketing campaigns through the use of NFC and get exclusive offers including money off vouchers for retail stores, games to win prizes and lots more that are in the pipeline.

As Tag Center is a relatively new application, I have the cool job of designing the user interface and am always looking for ways to enhance the user's experience.

It seems like an age ago since I was at uni, but I have dug out an old project that I would like to share as I never posted the final piece before.

Vivienne Westwood's 2010 Spring Summer collection reflected the theme of climate change and the concern for London being under water in just over 50 years time. This was my final project at NUCA - Graphic Communication.

The project also included usage of other design vehicles to help promote the Launch of a new store opening in London.

Tag Center for Nokia N9

 

I have been busy working on an exciting project for Proxama that is the Tag Center app for Nokia N9.
I am happy to say it is available on the Ovi Store now! 


Tag Center allows you to collect exclusive money off vouchers, content and applications from your favourite brands and stores by simply tapping posters at participating locations.

The app makes full use of the up and coming technology that is NFC (near field communication). There is no need to take photos of QR codes, but to simply use the micro chip reader that is built into the phone to tap a poster and get content within seconds or less.

I worked on the UI for the application including icon design, illustration, colourways and user flows.

The app is currently being used in Dubai to help with the launch of the N9. An NFC campaign run by Nokia is allowing N9 users to collect vouchers to get free popcorn and tickets at all Vox cinemas.

The users can collect vouchers on their phone then redeem at the Vox cinemas.

Proxama continues to develop more exciting projects that I will be lucky enough to be a part of.

Watch this space NFC is going to be BIG!
