VIVIENNE WESTWOOD - A CATALOGUE COVER DESIGN

I have been working my socks off trying to get this brief to start revealing the 'end of the tunnel' and is now finally coming together. For this final piece of work at NUCA; I am creating designs to promote a new Vivienne Westwood Man store opening on Conduit St London. The finished outcomes will include a VIP store opening invitation, a goody bag for the open evening, a micro site to hold extra information about the event and a new MAN collection catalogue for 2010 Spring/Summer.

Here is the production of my cover that will encase the catalogue.
(excuse the poor camera quality of my iPhone)

...and yes, I am using metal for the cover :D

- cutting lettering out from the template that is covering the aluminum sheet.

- etching the metal by hand from the template.

The finished result - so far.

I am going to be bending into a wave shape next and then binding the content. I will upload more on this when it is all complete.

I best crack on, lots to do...
